Itineraries
Tour 1
The standard (Festival Only) itinerary for the Rome Festival is a 5 night / 7 day trip. We arrive into Rome, where rehearsals and performances are interspersed with time to visit the major sites of Religious and Imperial Rome.
TOUR 2:
NAPLES & SORRENTO
ADD TWO NIGHTS
Arrive in Rome and transfer to Naples/Sorrento area. Visit the ruins of Pompeii which was buried by an eruption by Mt. Vesuvius in August, 79AD. Evening Concert in Naples. Full-day guided tour of the Amalfi Coast, visiting Sorrento Peninsula, Positano, Furore Valley and Salerno. Late afternoon transfer to Rome for to participate in the Rome Choral Festival.
TOUR 3:
FLORENCE & PISA
ADD TWO NIGHTS
Arrive in Rome and transfer to Florence. Take a half day orientation tour of Florence. Perform in Florence for an evening concert. Transfer to Rome via Pisa. See the Piazza del Duomo, the Leaning Tower, and Baptistery. Late afternoon transfer to Rome to participate in the Rome Choral Festival
TOUR 4:
FLORENCE, VENICE & Milan
ADD THREE NIGHTS
Arrive in Rome and participate in the Rome Choral Festival. Transfer to Florence. Take a half day orientation tour of Florence. Continue to Montecatini for dinner and overnight. Transfer to Florence for an afternoon at leisure. Transfer to Venice and then on to the main island of San Marco via public boat. Evening concert in the Venice area. Transfer to Milan for return flight.
